Today, we’ll explain the difference between too and enough.
Too:
- goes before adjectives and adverbs.
- has a negative meaning.
- shows that something is more than enough, more than necessary or more than wanted.
- too + adjective/adverb + for someone + to –infinitive.
Enough:
- goes before nouns but after adjectives or adverbs.
- has positive meanings.
- shows that there is as much of something as is wanted or needed.
- Adjective/adverb + enough + for someone + to –infinitive.
